In December 2022, Artistic Adventures was created by me, Amy. Nice to meet you!
I'm often asked if I studied art, the answer is no. I'm self-taught, and I believe anyone can be an artist.
Artistic Adventures was created from a need for something different. I'd been working in crisis response for a charity for years, and felt it was time to do something for me.
I'd always loved being creative. I started out in music and theatre, and used art as escapism during my years in crisis response. Moving over to running my own business was the hard part, the art came easy!
I am from Stretford, Manchester and run all our creative events myself. When you come to one of Artistic Adventures events, you are supporting a small local business. The money spent also supports the local venues we work with. I feel passionate about community and want to see everyone succeed.
